In 2011, Tim founded New York City based Crossley Acoustics, a company that designs and builds private commercial recording studios and also applies acoustic treatments to bars, restaurants, conference rooms and other similar spaces. Prior to that, Tim worked as a freelance designer. But once a large project came his way, he figured it was time to go out wholly on his own.
It proved to be a wise decision. To date, Crossley Acoustics has wrapped up more than 25 major projects; the company now employs six people. Tim and his team manage projects from conception to completion, also performing some of the onsite work themselves.
