Thrilled to share that Chaser has been shortlisted for the Supplier of the Year award at the 2025 CICM British Credit Awards, an accolade that celebrates the most impactful providers in credit management technology.

Organized annually by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM), these awards honor standout solutions that support credit teams in managing cash flow, optimizing collections, and reducing bad debt. Chaser’s selection acknowledges its innovative approach to accounts receivable automation, designed to improve efficiency and cash flow predictability for organizations worldwide.

Chaser brings automation and AI-driven insights into a single, end-to-end software that helps credit management teams streamline their operations and reduce late payments. From automated payment reminders and debtor communications to predictive analytics on debtors, Chaser’s solution is geared toward reducing manual tasks and addressing the core challenges faced by credit management teams.

Automating accounts receivable with precision and efficiency

Since its founding in 2014, Chaser has continuously evolved to address the changing needs of credit teams in a dynamic economic landscape. Today, it offers a comprehensive accounts receivable management solution that supports businesses of all sizes, from SMEs to larger enterprises.

Businesses can utilize a number of channels to follow up with their debtors including automated reminders via email, SMS, and phone. This allows credit teams to maintain consistent follow-up without additional time investment.

The Auto-call feature, which schedules automated payment reminder calls, helps credit teams maintain effective debtor contact at scale. Another recently-released follow up channel is Chaser's automated letters feature, which allows teams to send formal payment reminders by post, complete with QR codes for instant payment access, offering a cost-effective, high-impact option to reinforce the urgency of overdue payments.

Using AI for debtor insights and proactive management

Chaser’s platform uses artificial intelligence to tackle common challenges in credit control, helping finance teams understand payment behavior and plan cash flow more effectively. The AI Revenue forecast tool, for instance, analyzes over 65 data points to predict incoming payments, giving businesses a clearer view of their expected revenue. By taking into account factors like past payment behavior, industry trends, and market conditions, it supports more confident financial planning—especially helpful during uncertain times.

Chaser’s AI Late payment predictor also helps credit teams spot and prioritize accounts likely to delay payments, enabling more strategic follow-ups. Additionally, the platform’s Payer ratings categorize customers based on their payment habits, allowing credit teams to tailor follow-ups for better results.

Recent innovations responding to credit management challenges

In 2024, Chaser introduced several updates to meet modern credit management needs, adding enhancements that streamline processes for both routine and complex collections tasks. The Auto-call feature, launched early in the year, enables text-to-speech phone calls that are personalized and delivered according to the user’s schedule, a valuable tool for handling large debtor books efficiently.

Additional features released this year include in-app call functionality, which allows credit teams to make and record calls directly within the platform, centralizing records and improving the management of debtor relationships. Chaser's automated postal letters functionality provides a formal communication method with a high open rate, giving credit teams a cost-effective option for reinforcing payment urgency through posted letters that include QR codes for direct payment access.

Documented improvements for users across sectors

Organizations using Chaser’s automation tools have reported tangible improvements in payment collection timelines and cash flow predictability. Auto-call, for instance, has helped reduce days sales outstanding (DSO) by an average of 20 days among early adopters, with users benefiting from faster and more consistent debtor engagement. The in-app call and automated letter functionalities have contributed to significant efficiency gains, allowing credit teams to streamline follow-ups and reduce overdue balances.

The AI-powered revenue forecast tool has also enhanced strategic planning capabilities for finance teams. User research indicates that companies using accurate forecasts are better positioned to manage financial stability, and Chaser’s predictive tools provide a reliable resource for credit teams to make informed, data-driven decisions.
